LUCFR Responding Marathon

LUCFR will be taking part in a Sponsored Responding Marathon to raise funds for our voluntary scheme!

Between Friday 27th – Sunday 29th November, our volunteers will be on call back-to-back (00:00-23:59) for the entire weekend responding to 999 calls within Leicestershire. As a community first responder (CFR) scheme ran entirely by Leicester Universities staff and students, this is an incredible achievement!

Our scheme is funded entirely by donations from the community, and we are incredibly grateful for any contribution you can give. All money raised will help support the scheme in its ongoing running costs including the CFR response car and operational equipment.

A big thank you to everybody who supported us during our Crowd Funder campaign to raise funds for vital life-saving equipment. In just 21 days we managed to fund-raise an astonishing £4,155!
